License 

Prime Dev Studios plugins are free software under the GNU GPL. This page is the plain-language version. The legal text of the license is the GPL itself.

The plugin code

Prime Gallery Pro, Prime Charts, and other Prime Dev Studios plugins we publish for WordPress / Divi 5 are licensed under the

GNU General Public License, version 2 or later (GPL-2.0-or-later).

Full text: GNU GPL v2 and GNU GPL v3 if you choose “or later.”

Under that license you may:

- run the plugin on any number of sites
- study how it works
- change it
- share original or changed copies, as long as you keep the GPL on those copies

You do not need our permission to do those things. A Marketplace purchase does not take those rights away.

What a purchase is

When you buy a plugin on the Divi Marketplace you are paying for a packaged release from us, the updates we publish there, and the support we choose to offer.

You are not buying a proprietary lock on the code. We do not forbid modification of “core plugin files.” The GPL already allows you to change the code. We also do not treat a license key as a limit on how many WordPress sites may run the plugin.

If you change the plugin, those changes are yours to maintain. Support for modified copies is described on the Terms page.

What this license does not cover

The GPL applies to the plugin software we ship.

It does not give you the Prime Dev Studios name, the logo, or the right to present a changed plugin as an official Prime Dev Studios product.

Screenshots, photographs, and demo content on this website are not part of the plugin license. Use the credits on each product page (Wikimedia Commons and any others we list). Do not copy this site’s marketing pages and republish them as your own product site.

Divi itself is an Elegant Themes product. Their licence for the theme is separate from ours.

Third-party code inside the plugins

Some plugins include other people’s libraries. Those keep their own licences. Where we ship them, they are GPL-compatible.

For Prime Charts, the charting library we load on pages that contain a chart is ApexCharts, licensed under the MIT License. MIT is compatible with the GPL. Progress and Stat modules do not load that library.

WordPress itself is GPL.

No warranty

As the GPL states, the software is provided without warranty. See the Terms page and the warranty section of the GPL.
