Send the view, not just the page
When someone chooses Architecture, that choice is written into the page address. Bookmark it. Put it in an email. A client opens straight on their set.
The filter bar can stay visible, or you can hide it and drive the same views from ordinary links on the site.
Every Gallery layout. With a filter.
Grid, Masonry, Justified, or Packery — the same four walls, now with a way to narrow the set.
Hover, captions, lightbox, and video behave as they do in Gallery. You are not learning a second product.
Add new work. The wall keeps up.
Point the portfolio at a collection you already use — a wedding year, a coast, a building series. Newest first, with a cap if you want one.
The next upload lands on the page without opening the module again. If a collection is empty, the page says so instead of showing a broken grid.
Photographs and film, on the same wall.
Self-hosted files, YouTube, Shorts, and Vimeo sit with the stills. A play mark on the tile. Self-hosted files can preview on hover. YouTube, Shorts, and Vimeo open in the lightbox.
Click opens the full player in the same lightbox as the rest of the suite.
